MAIN CAMPUS
74 N. Washington St.
Battle Creek, Michigan 49037
The Battle Creek, MI location is the oldest building we operate out of but is actually the newest for us. The DC Institute of Technology was originally out of Detroit, MI, but in 1997, we moved into what was at the time the Battle Creek Federal Center (now known as the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center. Formerly a sanitarium operated by the Kelloggs brothers in the early to mid-20th century, the complex was bought by the GSA in the 1990s to become a federal building with several entities operating out of it alongside DCIT, most prominently the DLA.
The primary focuses of the main campus are internal administrative and executive functions, healthcare research and development, and architecture/construction management services.
WASHINGTON, DC CAMPUS
1050 Connecticut Ave NW
Washington, DC 20036
Living up to the DC name despite not having any real relationship with each other, our Washington, DC location is primarily concerned with supplemental administrative work and the contracting/subcontracting work.
It also acts as a liaison office to a variety of government agencies.
ALEXANDRIA CAMPUS
6909 Metro Park Dr
Alexandria, VA 22310
In 1957, when DCIT was still based in Detroit, it expanded to its first secondary location in Alexandria, VA. It originally took on the aerospace and nautical technology aspects of the firm before those shifted to Bozeman and Pensacola, respectively.
Currently, the Alexandria Campus' focus surrounds information technology, electronics, some security pursuits, and robotics. With Leidos and General Dynamics sharing the same block, the area has become a powerhouse of innovation.
BOZEMAN CAMPUS
350 Airport Rd
Belgrade, MT 59714
DCIT developed an aerospace-focused facility in Belgrade -- just outside of Bozeman, MT -- in 1994. Unlike the Virginia-based campuses, the Bozeman Campus has a decided focus in aerospace technology, innovation, and manufacturing, particularly for the military.
PENSACOLA CAMPUS
700 S Barracks St
Pensacola, FL 32502
Located within the Port of Pensacola, our Florida-base campus is our newest facility -- opening just shortly after the Bozeman Campus. Strongly in connection with the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, this branch focuses on both aerospace and nautical technology and development.
There is also a strong weapons engineering program based here.
