A relatively new capability within the Dow-Carnegie Institute of Technology -- beginning mostly in the mid-1990s -- we have nonetheless grown by leaps and bounds in the robotic technology field. Headed by our Robotic Technology Institute (ARTI), DCIT has emerged as an industry leader in robotic functionality, human-like responses, and on the cusp of AI technology.
Many of our robotics technology has been used in medical applications (including functioning surgical machinery) and defense applications (including unmanned vehicles and weapon detection devices), which all told, have saved thousands of lives.
